Poems by Eric Harrison
Ritual Sex Dance
window shaking
rattles off jazz
conducted by wind
song heard often
but only once
living radiators hiss
exhaling secrets
spoken in tongues
exorcising
heavy cold
waiting listener
anticipates flesh
thinks in hunger
stiff with bloodrush
driving urges
lust consuming
vacancy lost
removing
divided spaces
disappear
the me of her
together
behind mist
hiding
steam rises
warming
sex fuels ignition
wildfire circus
colliding needs
melt together
TV light illuminates
thrashing bodies
imps liberate lechery
hungry jackal bites
eating inhibition
beneath us
flailing limbs
frantic passion
digging flesh
releasing red
killing reserve
beasts run wild
over pillows
through padded cell
cracked open
escaping through
torn skin smiles
lost fluid love
tired bodies
taken minds
